Hey, I’m Eden. You’ve probably had a little scroll through my website and, like me, wanted to know a bit more about the person you’re booking. I get it. Trusting someone to photograph your little one, and create images you’ll keep and treasure forever, is a big thing. So here’s a small insight into who I am, what I get up to, and how I fell in love with newborn photography. I hope it makes everything feel a little more personal.

I never imagined I’d become a newborn photographer. It wasn’t something I dreamed of or planned for. I just sort of fell into it, and I’m so glad I did. I couldn’t think of a better job. I started my college years thinking I was going to be a music producer. Music has always been a huge part of my life and I adore all kinds of artists and genres. When my college needed someone to take photos at a few gigs, I offered because I already had a camera. From that moment on, I never really put it down. I never imagined that years later I’d be a full-time, professional newborn photographer, but here we are and I couldn’t be more grateful.

I’ve lived in The New Forest, Hampshire, my whole life, growing up with lots of dogs and endless walks under the trees. I still live here now, though I spend most of my time in my newborn studio. Honestly, it’s one of my favourite places. When I eventually buy my forever home, I already know it will be decorated very similarly.

I live with my partner and our dogs, and most days you’ll find me taking adorable baby photos or editing them with a cup of tea nearby. When I’m not working, I love to do yoga, meditate and read.

Over the years, I’ve met so many families, each with their own beautiful story of how they got here; their struggles, their wins, and the reasons these photos mean so much. That’s what I love most about this job. It’s never just about the photos, it’s the connections we make and the calm I can bring when Mum isn’t feeling her best or Dad is exhausted from doing everything he can. Every family is different, but the feelings are often the same. Having a baby is hard, but it can also be one of the greatest things you’ll ever experience, however your journey looks.
